Looking for Quilting Pattern

I have been searching for quilting patterns for my quilt. For this first quilt, I want to keep the cost down, and I'm a little confused as to what I get for the basic fee. But what I have in mind is something like these. It would be an all-over, edge to edge pattern. I do prefer the top one to the bottom one, but I don't know if it would be more expensive. I am hoping I will understand it all better once I have met with the quilter.

When you meet with your quilter she might have even better ideas for you. :) I know most, including myself, prefer to have "free reign" over what/how they quilt.

You did a great job! Adn your first too boot- wahoooooo!

I like the designs you have found...If you were asking for my opinion...I know you didn't, but you're gonna get it. roflmao I would pick one that would compliment your quilt pattern!!

I bet you're getting really excited for the finished product.

I think either of these would be gorgeous! It's great that you are enjoying this so much and getting heirlooms in the deal. Fantastic.

The top one is "popcorn" (I think) and a fairly common one for long armers to "carry." both should be fairly inexpensive...

The other one is a basic stipple & most quilters do that free hand. This too should be fairly inexpensive.

{I use a wonderful lady in MI - I live in DC & have had NO Problems - who does not do the edge to edge stuff, but her free hand is wonderful & she is very reasonable pricewise. LMK if you want her info.)
